Neighbour Agreements for the proposed Bendenine Wind Farm are voluntary, private arrangements between Wind Prospect and nearby landowners. These agreements provide financial payments for properties that may experience elevated visual impacts from the project.
The Project is being carefully designed to minimise visual impacts wherever possible. However, where elevated visual impacts remain, eligible landowners may be offered a Neighbour Agreement, along with standard mitigation measures such as vegetation screening and potential adjustments to turbine locations.
For the Bendenine Wind Farm, our Visual Impact Neighbour Agreements:
- Are voluntary
- Are non-confidential
- Don’t affect your ability to provide feedback or participate in consultation, raise concerns, or contact regulators
- Relate to visual impact only
Eligibility for a Neighbour Agreement is determined through the project’s Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, which identifies properties that may experience elevated levels of visual impact. Wind Prospect will contact landowners directly if their property is identified as potentially eligible over the coming months.
