Welcome to the September 2026 edition of the Bendenine Wind Farm newsletter.
The project team is continuing technical investigations, environmental surveys and project design refinement as part of preparing the Scoping Report and the request for Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) from Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
This edition provides an update on environmental survey activities and preliminary ecological findings, highlights key themes emerging from community engagement and social impact scoping, and outlines how that feedback is helping to inform ongoing project planning and assessment. We also share details of upcoming community engagement opportunities, the Bendenine Wind Farm Community Sponsorship Program, community wellbeing initiatives and proposed community benefit sharing arrangements.
