Situated approximately 7 kilometres to the north of Brinkworth and 145 kilometres north of Adelaide, in South Australia's Mid North region.
The site is adjacent to the Brinkworth Substation and ElectraNet 275 kV transmission line.
The battery will be developed as “exempt development” as specified in the South Australian Government Gazette in April 2024. The project is now owned by Akaysha Energy.
