The proposed Whyte Yarcowie Wind Farm is located east, and south of the Whyte Yarcowie township and 190 km north of Adelaide in the northern Mount Lofty ranges of South Australia.
The project site has been chosen due to its high wind resource and location near existing transmission infrastructure. Wind Prospect is developing this project on behalf of sister company WP Renewables Ltd.
A battery energy storage system (BESS) is proposed to be included as part of this project.
